THE CLAY

THE CLAY HAS A FACE AFTER ALL.

She is a child advocate, a Compassion Project worker, an accountant, full-time employee, a wife, mother of 5(2 biological boys and 3 by marriage-2 girls & 1 boy, all of them grown-up now), proud mother to a Pastor, grandma of 5, nature, reading and scrapbook lover, follower of Jesus.

Conscience confession:
(Pssstttt.... Don't be deceived by mere appearances.  That photo is a photo of a 45 year old Lolita.  Just add more lines and sags in the right places and white hair on the crown, then you can picture her present profile.  She's got a severe case of camera phobia.....(laughing))

The story behind the banner:

Personally created using ACDSee Photo Editor - a digital scrapbooking photo editor.  Thanks to other websites for the images of the hand on a clump of dirt and the bible.

I desired to see myself as a Clay in the Potter's Hand, chosen and molded-in-progress, hopefully to perfection someday when the Potter will call me home.  I need to learn more and be teachable in every way His word will lead me.  I know God has still lots to shape in me, then fill in me until I emerge to be the pot that will hold his truth, and will work according to His purpose.

Disclaimer:

Any post written here are unedited.  Grammatical perfection and literary form is not the intention of this blog .  This is a personal journal of the owner, made for her quest to walk with the Lord and be taught by the Holy Spirit and let the Word of God come alive in her life.  Any quotes, cliches and parts of speech that I may pen down, could be the product of my readings all throughout my life.  If, in any way, this would offend the original writer, I beg your pardon, they were not intentional.

My friends who are following my posts, I am thankful to you with all my heart, because without you, I would be engaged in a battle against the flesh and against the enemy, single-handed (of course, God is with me always).  But with you, alongside me,  that would be a battle more than a halfway won.  Thank you so much.  Diane, I owe a lot to you, and you made me your "Divine Appointment." Your encouraging word gave me a fresh and renewed "leap of  faith."

Finally, for those stranger to me who happen to find themeselves in this blog, bear with me,  I am only a VOICE among the many.  Not a skilled writer nor a trained Preacher of the word but finding a free spot on the Blog world, to put words to my pen for my own sake, to proclaim what God has done to me, in me and through me.  If this would bless some, then God did that for you too,  so this might not fall on barren land.  Another soul might be blessed to bless others too..... then the cycle of love through encouragments will continue. That way, this writing would never be in vain, for if ever none hears this VOICE, God made me grow out of it.

Today, I want to add a new entry to this page.  The clay is getting lots of encouragement from an increasing "circle of sharing" friends.  I am blessed with praying friends who are wise-hearted-women and extravagantly loving friends.   I am counting my blessings and I find myself not wanting in these areas.  I got Martha, whose strength, combined with an amazing supply of good humor, makes me see Jesus in her life.  There is Martha, who accounts for all the wise-hearted women and is willing to be shaped by the hallways God is designing for her as a missionary wife.  There's Pam, whose lovely words could make me look in wonderment at the Creator of beautiful words.  Then I got Diane, whose encouragement has given me a push to believe in myself and blog,  if only to usher myself into the healing grace of God, and make the remaining breath I may have, worthy of the Potter's wheel.  Thus, I am saving up impressions upon my mold as the wheel turns each day.

A QUOTE FROM DIANE

"We rejoice with those who rejoice. We cry with those who are crying. We lift each other up in prayer. We learn from each other, and adorn each other's lives. It's a sisterhood/brotherhood (we're not exclusive to women, men!). In a dark, dog-eat-dog world we live in, the encouragement and positive affirmations of our blogging community is like an oasis where we can rest and be rejuvenated."
Excepted from her post: Friends With Benefits

Thanks, Diane.

I pray that the clump of clay, held in the Potter's hand and set on the wheel under the mold of the Maker, be the Pot bearing all the impressions God has made upon it, including the cracks and bumps, and then emerge to be His Vessel of Honor and A Royal Diadem in the Maker's hand...... a thing of Beauty.

THIS IS FOR YOU, MY GOD, MY KING!
IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU, JESUS.   NEVER EVER ABOUT ME.

I LOVE YOU, MY LORD.

Saving a newer version of "The Clay" for posterity (Ha ha)
I am hoping to age in a mellow way.  Don't mind the gray and the sags or even some gouty pains (Hu hu hu...).  All that matters is the beautiful memories we save along the way, most especially with people we come to know, journeyed-with and the love we shared.  Family is the most important thing in our life.  Save the best for them.  I am so glad and thankful that I have one who sticks with me through all the hollows and the mountain-top experiences.  I love you all.
