GRUMPY, ME AND COMPANY

CORAL REEF BEACH RESORT (CLICK TO ENLARGE)
Slippers gather grit and are accommodated into the borrowed car as the family tiredly piles inside for the homeward trip.

The youngest grandson, David Nigel, seven shades of brown now, is peacefully sleeping in my arms, all in a jiffy before we even got out of the gates.  Silence generally takes over the throne, perhaps due to the spent up day or for another reason which is the theme of this outing story.

It is just amazing how they come alive in the water so much like fishes long been deprived.  Yet when it's time to fish them out of the soaking, it is such a struggle, and once out on dry land, they immediately start to welt down like they really are water dwellers with gills and scales.

GOOD MORNING, MR. GABI!

MY OFFICE CUBICLE
We call the Taro Root (Colocasia esculenta) Gabi (local name), here in our country.

I became an avid fan of culturing root vegetables as ornamental (indoor) plant.

I brought a fully grown one in my office and here it is.  This is Mr. Gabi.

If not for Pam of Writing Apples of Gold and Diane of An Encouraging Word,

No matter what situation I am in,

My God is in His throne.

He is God alone.

In the good times and bad,

You are God alone.

UNSHAKABLE

UNSTOPPABLE

WHEN MAGNITUDE DWELLS IN MY HEART

In the jungle of the commercial world, one often gets lost .   Staying on schedule, working on priorities demanding attention, skills and time, easily leads us to go home weary.

Chores at home get piled high and it fights the battle against running off to bed.  Sometimes there is  something that pops up which needs to be done with, no matter what.  You strive to be awake and do it wholeheartedly.

Mornings get me foggy and sometimes the mountain climbs to my appointment with my Creator get pushed back with a promise to spend it during the midday break.  Then, you know too well what happens next.  Distraction comes... and house-sits without a lot of pushing ...... on tiptoe.
